Technology description including background system Majority of paper mills in Malaysia uses recycled paper materials to produce paper products. Only a selected few industries uses a combination of virgin pulp and recycled pulp for paper products production. The paper materials in Malaysia are of a mixed source coming from both local supplies as well as of the imported sources. However, the import country of origin and the percentage import are not known. The production of RSC box is divided into 2 distinct processes; i.e converting process to produce plain board and corrugating process to produce finished product (RSC paper box).

Access and use restrictions Access to datsets is permitted upon approval by the authorised administrator of the Malaysian Life Cycle Inventory Database. The standard route to the datasets is via online enquiry and deliver of hardcopies of the datasets through normal mail. When special access is granted, the dataset can be used by the user to perform LCA studies, to convert into other formats, to develop own datasets etc., as long as the copyright and license conditions for the datsets of the MYLCID are met.
